Before the sales pitch
Before you subscribe, it's worth thinking through a few practical things beyond the feature list -- what device your child will actually use it on, when in their week they'll realistically use it, and whether you'll check the report card or not.
What we'd ask ourselves first
Is this replacing something (tuition, a workbook) or adding a new cost entirely? Is your child self-motivated enough for self-paced learning, or do they need the external structure of a fixed class? Neither answer is wrong, but it changes whether this is the right fit.
Our honest take
If the answer is "we want affordable, broad practice and my child can work somewhat independently", it's a reasonable fit. If the answer is "my child needs someone physically present to stay on task", tuition may serve you better, at higher cost.
