Why the second child is a different case

A common pattern: parents who kept the older child's account active also add a younger sibling once they're old enough, having already learned which subjects and features their family actually uses versus ignores.
What we'd tell a returning family
Don't assume the second child will use it the same way as the first -- check the report card for the new child separately rather than assuming engagement carries over between siblings.
