The first-month impression fades
Most reviews are written after a few weeks, when everything feels new. After a year, the question that actually matters is different: is the child still opening the app without being told to, or has it become another unused subscription?
What tends to sustain usage
Households that stick with it long-term usually build it into a routine -- a fixed short slot after school rather than "whenever there's time", and periodic report-card check-ins so a parent notices if usage drops off before a full year has been wasted.
What we'd tell a first-time subscriber
Don't judge value after week one. Set a 2-3 month checkpoint to look at actual usage and the report card, and decide from there whether it's earning its RM388 rather than assuming it automatically will.
