The core trade-off
Reference books are cheap and require no screen time, but give no feedback -- a student can practise a concept incorrectly for weeks without knowing.
What changes at Form 3
With PT3 approaching, the cost of an undetected misunderstanding compounds faster than in a non-exam year. Automated marking and a report card that flags weak topics matter more here than they would in a lower-stakes year.
Fair caveat
A highly disciplined student who reliably checks their own answers against a book's answer key can do fine with self-study alone -- the platform mainly helps students who wouldn't otherwise get that feedback loop.
